After Our Services Have Ended

Caring Hospice Services Continue After Death

We provide hospice services for both the patient and their family members. While your loved one is alive, we strive to improve their physical state with compassionate symptom management. We also care for the patient and their family members’ emotional state with bereavement and spiritual counseling. Bereavement counseling can be very helpful when trying to find closure and when dealing with such a huge loss. Spiritual counseling can help you find solace and peace within your religious beliefs.

After Care Follow Up

When your loved one passes, these important counseling services continue after death. Hospice counseling can be offered up to three years after the patient’s passing. Whether you’re dealing with anger, depression, or anxiety, experienced professionals can help provide support and guidance. Everyone grieves in their own way, and our bereavement coordinators will adapt our grief counseling program to suit your experience best. A & H Hospice will check on you and your family members with mail reminders about our grief care. Bereavement and spiritual counseling are offered at no cost to the family members of patients receiving our caring hospice services.

Navigating Final Rest Options

When you’ve just lost a loved one, it can be difficult to make important decisions like funeral arrangements. Our experienced staff members can help you navigate cremation and burial options that are appropriate and cost-effective. We can help make suggestions for a viewing, funeral, or memorial service that fits the family’s needs and honors your loved one’s wishes.

Our caring hospice services are provided at no cost to patients with Medicare and MediCal. We also accept many private insurances. If you or your loved one are a resident of Southern California, contact A & H Hospice today for a free consultation.
